This Good News Friday, we hear about Irene Woods who recently retired from a long and happy career in care aged 83.

Coverage Care’s Montgomery House nursing home in Shrewsbury recently marked the retirement of their long-serving staff member Irene Woods at the age of 83.

Having spent last 10 years of her career with Coverage Care, Irene was a dedicated and beloved member of the team and was still working 12-hour shifts right up until her retirement.

΢΢²ÝÊÓÆµ Manager Rhea Paller paid tribute to Irene’s remarkable contribution:

We have been blessed to have Irene working here at Montgomery House. Her dedication and commitment are inspiring to everyone, and she will be sorely missed.

Coverage Care’s Chief Executive, Debbie Price, also shared her admiration:

Irene is a truly remarkable lady. Her compassionate and hardworking nature embodies everything we hold dear in our Coverage Care family.

To celebrate her legacy, Montgomery House hosted a retirement party, where Irene was surrounded by colleagues, residents, and friends.
