΢΢²ÝÊÓƵ is looking for care providers to adopt the Care Workforce Pathway as part of a direct support programme.
The Care Workforce Pathway is a comprehensive framework designed to clearly define careers in adult social care, detailing the knowledge, skills, values, and behaviours essential for delivering high-quality, personalised care and support.
The support programme aims to make adoption of the Pathway achievable, practical, and meaningful, by:
- Making it easier to get started by breaking Pathway adoption into clear, manageable steps and providing practical tools and templates.
- Helping you and your organisation build the Pathway into everyday workforce practice, rather than treating it as extra work or a separate initiative.
- Supporting more consistent ways of working across care providers and systems, using shared language, expectations, and approaches to workforce development.
- Building confidence, momentum, and shared ownership across the sector through supported learning, peer connection and ongoing engagement.
Participation commitment
Participation in the support programme involves a commitment from your organisation to:
- Nominate a Pathway lead to co-ordinate activity across your organisation.
- Put in place a simple, practical plan to begin adopting the Pathway.
- Map at least one existing job role against the Pathway role categories.
- Engage in three short online workshops designed to support progress and shared learning.
- Use the Pathway to make at least one tangible change within your organisation.
Online workshop delivery
- Group 1 (Summer) - starts Tuesday 7 July 2026
- Group 2 (Autumn) - starts Tuesday 15 September 2026
You will be asked to select your preferred group as part of the application form.
