Our masterclass series provides the opportunity for you to hear from people with expertise on topics relevant to you and your role. Our peer learning events provide an opportunity to work in small groups sharing challenges and solutions around a particular topic with peers.
By attending either a masterclass or a peer learning event, you are automatically enrolled onto the commissioner network. It's up to you if you want to join one or all of these events.
Masterclasses
Market shaping for self-directed support

This masterclass will explore practical approaches to shaping markets that better enable self-directed support. Learning and examples from the Self-Directed Support Network will be shared, alongside tips for commissioners to develop markets that empower people to take more control of their care and support.
Making co-production work for commissioning
Tuesday 2 December | 11:00 – 12:00 | Online
Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) and the National Co-production Advisory Group (NCAG) will share practical examples from commissioning teams on how they have overcome barriers and applied co-production in their practice. We’ll share top tips and real-life stories of good practice, as well as learning from projects where this hasn't gone well, with ideas for solutions.

Peer learning event: Market shaping for self-directed support

This session will follow the masterclass on market shaping for self-directed support. It will provide an opportunity to ask questions and delve deeper into the concept and practical nuts and bolts of this type of commissioning. Share your own experiences and hear what others have been doing in this space.
Peer learning event: Making co-production work for commissioning

Join us for a practical, dynamic session bringing in diverse examples of co-production in action from commissioning teams. We’ll bust myths, offer top tips and share innovative models of co-production in commissioning. Bring stories, questions and examples from your practice to complement this interactive session.
